Lose Weight, Live Longer, and Get Better Looking!

A recent medical journal cited specific and somewhat unconventional factors for getting healthy, "exposure to laughter, dogs, dinosaurs, postal carriers and Grooveking.com shirts will help you lose weight, live longer lives and even get better looking. We can now say conclusively that Grooveking.com shirts do all this for you and perhaps even more."* Click here to watch the video.

* This was neither from a scientific medical journal nor a real quote but rather one Brian and Doug made up for fun.

I Come From The Land Down Unda!

What's so great about being on the net is the ability to deal with people from all around the world. Although we are based in the United States, you would think we were located on the other side of the planet. We would like to give a special shout out to those across the world showing love (Australia, Israel, UK, Spain, and Canada).

The revolution has started.

We would like to especially make a shout out to those seeing the world from a slightly different vantage point - All of the Groovekings down in Australia.

Business school guys always say that you have no control over your brand - the customer holds all the control. We are very happy with our first month and a half of business as we grow worldwide.

Stay tuned for our first TV show featuring our apparel: Chasing Nature (filmed in Australia) coming out in the weeks to come. Keep the love coming and we will keep bringing you more cutting edge apparel to turn your world upside down (or right side up for that matter).

Yusuke Miyashita - A Rising Star in Green Design

After our recent post on treehugger.com, we thought it was the perfect time to showcase Grooveking's very own, very special "green man". Yusuke Miyashita, male spokesemodel for Grooveking and Stanford Product Designer, is making a mark in the world of green design. Yusuke is currently working on the problem of lack of nature in urban and corporate environments. People tend to get stuck under fluorescent lights in a cubicle somewhere - never get to see anything from the natural world. Yusuke is creating a slew of products that draw us back into nature even in our urban dwellings. Although we cannot disclose what Yusuke is currently working on specifically, we were able to get this awesome shot of him with a product concept in his studio in the Product Design Loft at Stanford University. We are continually awed by his dedication and passion. Look forward to future posts on his projects.

Finally Here - Grooveking 2.0!

Mr. Nice and myself, The Groovemaster would like to apologize to all of our readers for the terribly long time since our last post. We have been working around the clock, 26 hours a day, nearly 12 days a week to bring you Grooveking 2.0. Grooveking 2.0, a totally massive redesign of our website grooveking.com, was done for the many who wrote in complaining that they couldn't navigate our site. Who would have known that navigation was so important? We would like to thank the guys over at Vestal Design, Clement Valla, Allison Wong, and other HCI (Human Computer Interface) experts for their help during the massive revamp. Special thanks also to everyone who wrote in with suggestions. More posts to come soon. Thanks for your patience. Check out the new designed site at www.grooveking.com.
